Good Friday
Good Friday is a Christian holiday celebrating the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary. It is observed on Friday immediately preceding Easter Sunday, March 29, 2024.
Labour Day
Labour Day is observed on May 1, 2024, and it celebrates the achievements of workers. The holiday originates in the eight-hour day movement, which is eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.
Battle of Puebla Day
Battle of Puebla Day, observed on May 5, 2024, commemorates the Mexican Army's victory over the much better-equipped and larger French army at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. The Battle occurred near Puebla City during the Second French intervention in Mexico.
Independence Day
Independence Day, observed on September 16, 2024, marks the anniversary when the Roman Catholic priest of Dolores, Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, issued the famous Cry of Dolores on September 16, 1810, which triggered the Mexican War of Independence.
All Souls' Day
This is a day of prayer and remembrance for the souls of those who have died, observed on November 2, 2024.
Revolution Day
Revolution Day is a public holiday in Mexico, observed on November 18, 2024. The holiday marks the anniversary of the start of the Mexican Revolution, which was a revolution that included a sequence of armed struggles from 1910 to 1920.
Day of Lady of Guadalupe
Day of Lady of Guadalupe is a religious festival in Mexico, observed on December 12, 2024. The holiday celebrates when the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus, appeared to a man named Juan Diego in Mexico in 1531.
Christmas Day
