Benito Juarez is one of the greatest presidents and defended his nation during two wars: the civil war and the French invasion. The civil war was between the Liberals and the Conservatives from 1858 to 1860, while the French invasion was from 1861 to 1867. He is the only president who is honored with a holiday in Mexico.
