Christmas Day

Christmas Day is a public holiday celebrated worldwide, and most Christians celebrate on December 25 in the Gregorian calendar.

However, some Eastern Christian Churches celebrate Christmas on December 25 of the older Julian calendar, which corresponds to the day on or near January 7 in the Gregorian calendar.

Christmas Day is a holiday to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Christmas Day is a holiday of sharing. People exchange Christmas gifts and cards with families and friends. Children are excited to set up the Christmas trees and wait for the presents from Santa Claus.
