St. Joseph's Day

St. Joseph's Day, also known as the Feast of Saint Joseph, is the principal feast day of Saint Joseph in Western Christianity, and it is observed on March 19 each year.

St. Joseph is the husband of the Virgin Mary and stepfather of Jesus Christ, and he worked as a carpenter. Joseph is referred to as a "just man" in the Bible and was willing to follow whatever God asked him. He followed God and took Mary as his wife.

When he found Marry was pregnant and knew the child was not his after they were engaged. Being a caring man, he sent Mary away quietly to a safe place to avoid her being hurt because women accused of adultery could be stoned to death. In a dream, an angel told him that the baby was from the Holy Spirit and he would save his people from their sins.
