Sultan of Johor's Birthday commemorates the day when Ibrahim Ismail was crowned as the Sultan of Johor on March 23, 2015. Ibrahim Ismail was born on November 22, 1958. He was installed as the Sultan of Johor on January 23, 2010, after his father died on the day before, and made his inaugural presence at the Conference of Rulers in February 2010.
Sultan Ibrahim is the first Johor Ruler to celebrate his birthday. He was crowned as the Sultan of Johor on March 23, 2015, and March 23 has been a state holiday since 2015.
