Statehood Day (Hawai'i)

Statehood Day is a public holiday in the state of Hawai'i, United States, and it falls on the third Friday in August each year.

Statehood Day celebrates the anniversary of the state's admission as the 50th state of the United States in 1959. Statehood Day was first celebrated as Admission Day in 1969, and changed to Statehood Day in 2001.
