Remembrance Day is a public holiday in Bermuda, and it is observed on November 11 each year.
Remembrance Day honors those who fought and fell as allies of the British Armed Forces in World War I and II. People wear poppies to recognize the sacrifice of soldiers in times of war.
The ceremony is held at the National War Memorial and Cenotaph on Front Street in Hamilton. Following the service, a parade with the veterans and people from the military forces, cadet corps, and other organizations is carried out.
