New Year's Day

Labour Day
Labour Day is observed on May 1, 2025, and it celebrates the achievements of workers. The holiday originates in the eight-hour day movement, which is eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.

Constitution Day
Constitution Day is a public holiday in Kyrgyzstan, officially the Kyrgyz Republic, and it is observed on May 5, 2025. The holiday commemorates when the Constitution of Kyrgyzstan was first adopted in 1993.

Victory Day

Days of History and Commemoration of Ancestors
Days of History and Commemoration of Ancestors are public holidays in Kyrgyzstan, observed on November 7 and 8, 2025. Kyrgyzstan achieved independence in 1991 following the collapse of the Soviet Union; however, Kyrgyzstan traditionally celebrated November 7 as the anniversary of the October Revolution. In 2017, the government changed the holiday to the Days of History and Memory of Ancestors in memory of the liberation struggle in 1916.
