Czech Statehood Day
Czech Statehood Day, also known as St. Wenceslas Day, is a public holiday in the Czech Republic, and it is observed on September 28, 2023. Czech Statehood Day commemorates the martyrdom of Czech Prince Wenceslas, who his brother assassinated on September 28, 935.
Czechoslovak Independence Day
Czechoslovak Independent Day, observed on October 28, 2023, celebrates the birth of independent Czechoslovakia when it was declared independence from Austria-Hungary on October 28, 1918.
Struggle for Freedom and Democracy Day
Struggle for Freedom and Democracy Day, observed on November 17, 2024, commemorates the two most important events in the Czech Republic and Slovakia (former Czechoslovakia): the student demonstrations on November 17, 1939, and the student demonstrations on November 1989.
Christmas Day
