Armistice Day (Serbia)

Armistice Day is a public holiday in Serbia, and it is observed on November 11 each year. The holiday commemorates the armistice agreement signed between the Allies and Germany at Compiègne, France, which took effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918.

Armistice Day was celebrated with different names in different countries such as Remembrance Day in Canada and Veterans Day in the United States, but France, Belgium, and Serbia still celebrate the holiday with the name of "Armistice Day".
