How to Show Bookmarks in Word Document

Bookmarks work with hyperlinks to let you jump to a specific place in your Word document. After adding a bookmark, you can quickly jump to place you marked with. In general, the bookmarks are hidden so you cannot see them in the document. Please follow the steps below to show bookmarks in your word document.

Step 1: Click the "File" tab from the ribbon;

Step 2: Click "Options" from the left navigation menu;

Step 3: Click "Advanced" in the "Word Options" window;

Step 4: Check the box of "Show Bookmarks" under the section of "Show document content";

Step 5: Click "OK" at the bottom, and you will see bookmarks are now visible in the word document.
