When working with Excel, you may need to unmerge cells. Please see below for details:
Step 1: Select cells you need to unmerge;
Step 2: Click the "Home" tab from the Ribbon;
Step 3: Click the small triangle after the command "Merge&Center";
Step 4: Select "Unmerge Cells" from the drop down list;
Step 5: You will see the merged cells are now unmerged.
Alternatively, you can use the "Format Painter" to unmerge cells.
Step 1: Click any unmerged cell, e.g., cell A2;
Step 2: Double-click the "Format Painter" from the "Home" tab;
Step 3: Select the data range that you need to unmerge cells.
