Getting the sum is the most common calculation in Excel. There are a number of ways to get the sum of a column or row. For example, you can get the sum with a formula, or you can get the sum with the command as below:
Step 1: Select the data range;
Step 2: Click the "Home" tab from the ribbon;
Step 3: In the Editing section, click the triangle after the "AutoSum";
Step 4: Select "Sum" from the drop-down list, or click "Autosum" directly;
Step 5: The sum will appear at the bottom of the column. In this example, the sum of 2,3,4,5,6 is 20.
