The advantage of hiding a row instead of deleting a row is that you can always bring it back when you need it. Please refer to Ctrl+9 if you like using shortcut to hide rows and follow the steps below to hide rows that are not adjacent:

Step 1: While holding "Ctrl" key, select the rows that you want to hide by clicking their headers;

Step 2: Right-click on one of the row headers and select "Hide" from the dialog box.

Alternatively, please use the commands from the ribbon:

Step 1: While holding "Ctrl" key, select the rows that you want to hide by clicking the row headers;

Step 2: Click the "Home" tab from the ribbon;

Step 3: Click "Format" in the Cells area, and select "Hide Rows" from the "Hide & Unhide" command;

Step 4: The rows will disappear.
