The advantage of hiding a row instead of deleting a row is that you can always bring it back when you need it. Please refer to Ctrl+9 if like using shortcut to hide a row or follow the steps below for details:

Step 1: Select the row you want to hide;

Step 2: Right-click and select "Hide" from the dialog box.

Step 3: The selected row will disappear.

Alternatively, please use the commands in the ribbon:

Step 1: Select the row you want to hide;

Step 2: Click the "Home" tab from the ribbon;

Step 3: Click the "Format" in the Cells area, and select "Hide Rows" from the "Hide & Unhide" command.

Step 4: The selected row will disappear.
