How to Change Orientation for One Page in Word

You may need to make some of your pages in the landscape orientation to have enough spaces for large tables, while to keep the rest of pages in the portrait orientation. In this article, we will make the second page in the landscape orientation in a word file with 3 pages. Please see the steps below:

Step 1: Move the cursor to the end of the first page and click the "Layout" tab from the ribbon;

Step 2: Click "Breaks" and select "Continuous" from the drop-down list;

Step 3: Move the cursor to the end of Page 2 and repeat steps 2 to insert another section break. This will separate Page 2 from Page 1 and Page 3;

Step 4: Move the cursor to Page 2 and click the "Layout" tab if you are in a different tab;

Step 5: Click "Orientation" and select "Landscape" from the list.

Step 6: Page 2 will be landscape orientation, while Page 1 and 3 will be portrait orientation.

Notes: sometimes this may push some paragraphs to a different page and you may need some minor adjustments to make sure the file structure is good.
