In most cases, your word document will display in the portrait orientation, but you can switch to the landscape orientation. Or vice versa, changing from the landscape orientation to the portrait orientation. Please see the steps below:
Step 1: Click the "Layout" tab from the ribbon;
Step 2: Click "Orientation" and select "Landscape" from the drop-down list;
Step 3: The page layout will change from portrait orientation to landscape orientation.
