As mentioned in other posts, you can add borders to a page, or you can add borders to paragraphs. However, you may also want to customize the borders and add a shadow to them to make borders more attracting to audiences. Adding a shadow to page or paragraphs is very similar and we will add a shadow to paragraphs as an example in this post.
Step 1: Move the cursor to the paragraph with borders and click the "Design" tab from the ribbon;
Step 2: Click "Page Borders" in the "Page Background" area;
Step 3: The "Borders and Shading" window will pop-up. Click the "Borders" tab and then click "Shadow" from the left list;
To add the border shadow to pages, you need to click the "Page Border" tab and repeat the steps above.
Step 4: Click "OK" to finish.
