Nuzul Al-Quran is an important event celebrated by Muslims worldwide, and it is observed on the 17th day of the month of Ramadan in the Islamic calendar.
Al-Quran is the central religious text of Islam, and Nuzul Al-Quran commemorates the event that the holy Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad by the Angel Jibrail.
It is said that Angel Jibrail visited the Prophet Muhammad while he was meditating in a small cave outside of Mecca. After this first revelation, the Prophet Muhammad received daily revelations for 23 years till his death.
