How to Use Word to Open PDF Files

Not only you can save Word files into other formats, but also you can open files in other formats with Word. You can use Word to open files in many formats such as text, PDF, HTML pages, etc. Please see the steps below for details to use Word to open a PDF file:

Step 1: Click the "File" tab from the ribbon;

Step 2: Click "Open" from the left navigation menu;

Step 3: Navigate to the location of the PDF file and click on it;

Step 4: After a warning message appears;

Please note that the PDF you open with word works best if you used Word to create the PDF document. Some scanned or other programs created PDF files will be hard to use Word to work on.

Step 5: Click "OK" to finish.
