1. Excel Cell
A cell is the Excel unit that contains your data or information. The cell is named by column letter and row number. For example, cell C3 is the cell in the Column C and Row 3.
2. Data Range
A data range contains a group of cells and is named by the upper-left cell and right-bottom cell with a colon in between. For example, data range C1:E4.
Rows in Excel are horizontal and named by number, for example, row 3.
In Excel, columns are vertical and named by letter, for example, column E.
