How to Verify Domain Ownership via DNS Record Google Search Console

Google Search Console is a web service by Google which allows webmasters to check indexing status. To get the services, you need to verify domain ownership via DNS. Please see below for details:

Step 1: Login the Google Search Console;

Step 2: Click the Search box and click the "Add property" button;

Step 3: Type your domain name in the box and click "Continue";

Step 4: If your domain company is on the domain provider list, select the company name and click the "Verify" button; alternatively, copy the TXT record.

Step 5: Login your domain provider account (e.g., namecheap.com, ionos.com), click add "Add record" under the DNS section;

Step 6: Select "TXT" format in the new window;

Step 7: Paste the codes in step 4 into the box below and click "Save";

Step 8: You may get failed the first time. The reason is that the DNS changes may take a while to appear, so please verify again after several hours.
