- How to Change Time to Include Seconds
When you type the time with the shortcut "Ctrl+Shift+;" in Excel, you will get the current time with the format of "hour, minute, AM/PM". If you need to include the seconds in a time, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Select the cells or range with time;
Step 2: Right-click to bring up the dialog box and click "Format Cells" from the list;
Step 3: In the "Format Cells" window, click "Time" from the left navigation, and select "1:30:55 PM" from the list;
Step 4: Click "OK" at the bottom and you will find the seconds in the time.
