Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi marks the death ceremony of Narayana Guru, who died on September 20, 1928. He was an Indian social reformer and wrote a number of philosophical works and poems. Narayana Guru led a movement fighting against the Hindu caste system and economic inequality. He believed that all people belong to only one caste which is expressed in his famous saying: "One caste, one religion, one god for humanity".
