Using formulas in Google Sheets is very common. By default, you will see the results instead of the formulas in the sheet. Please see below for details to display the formula in the cells.
Step 1: Open a Google sheet and click any cell in the sheet;
Step 2: Click the "View" tab from the ribbon;
Step 3: Click "Show Formula" in the drop-down list;
Step 4: The formulas will display in the cells.
The method above is to show all formulas in the sheet, in case you want to show the formula only in a cell, please see details below:
Step 1: Double click the cell you want to show the formula;
Step 2: Move the cursor to the beginning of the formula and type the "apostrophe" sign from the keyboard;
Step 3: Press the "Enter" key or click any other cell to move the cursor out of the cell.
