The shortcut Shift+F8 is to extend the selection to non-adjacent cells or ranges.
Step 1: Open the spreadsheet and click any cell, e.g., B2;
Step 2: Press and hold the "Shift" key from the keyboard, and press the "F8" key;
Step 3: Click another cell and you will see the two cells are selected;
Step 4: If you keep clicking the cells and you will get them selected;
Step 5: You can also select a data range.
