How to Request a Read Receipt in Outlook

When you send a very important email to someone and you want to make sure the person read the email, you can request a read receipt. Please follow the steps below for details:

Step 1: Click "New Email" to create an email;

Step 2: In the "New Email" window, click "Options" tab and then check "Request a read receipt";

Step 3: If the person read the email, you will receive a message telling you that the message is read.
