Paste transpose is very common and is one of the paste specials. It will turn the direction of the content from horizontal to vertical or vice versa.
Step 1: In the Google Sheet, select the contents you want to paste transposed;
Step 2: Copy the contents using the shortcut "Ctrl+C", or right-click and select "Copy" from the dialogue box;
Step 3: Move the cursor to the new location where you want to paste, e.g., G1;
Step 4: Right-click and select "Paste Special" from the dialogue box. From the "Paste Special" drop-down list, select "Paste Transposed";
Step 5: The contents are now in a new location with a new direction.
Alternatively, you can get the "Paste Transposed" command in the "Edit" tab from the ribbon.
