If Google search is the search engine you like, you can make it as your default engine, which will save you a lot of time. Please see the steps below:
Step 1: Open Google Chrome;
Step 2: Click the Google setting icon from the top-right corner;
Step 3: Click the "Settings" from the drop-down list;
Step 4: Click the "Search engine" from the left menu in the new window;
Step 5: Click the box after "Search engine used in the address bar" and select "Google";
Step 6: Click the icon after the "Manage search engines";
Step 7: In the new page, click the icon after "Google", and click "Make default";
Step 8: If Google is already your default search engine, it will show only "Edit" when you click the icon in step 7.
