Lee-Jackson Day

Lee-Jackson Day was a state holiday in the state of Virginia, United States, and it is observed Friday that immediately precedes Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Lee-Jackson Day commemorates the Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson, both were famous generals during the American Civil War.

The holiday was eliminated in 2020 and replaced by Election Day.
