The page break is the point where a page ends and the new page starts. You can add a page break anywhere in the page. If you like using the shortcut, you can insert a page break by pressing "Ctrl+Enter".
Alternatively, you can follow the steps below:
Step 1: Move the cursor to the place where you want to insert a page break and click the "Layout" tab from the ribbon;
Step 2: Click "Breaks" and select "Page" from the drop-down list;
Step 3: The contents after the point will move to the next page.
Step 4: To remove a page break already existing in the word document, you need to turn on the formatting marks first to display the formatting symbols. Please check how to show the formatting symbols to display formatting symbols. Then select and delete the page break symbol.
