How to Insert a Link in Google Sheets

When working with Excel or Google Sheets, you often need to insert a link, for the website or other sheets. Please see below for details:

Step 1: Click the cell you want to add a link;

Step 2: Right-click and click "Insert link" from the drop-down list;

Step 3: Type the link text in the text box and paste the website link in the link box if the link is a website;

Step 4: If you want to link to a sheet, click "Sheets in this spreadsheet", then select the sheet from the list.

You can also insert a link to the data range.

Alternatively, you can insert a link with the commands from the ribbon.

Step 1: Click the "Insert" tab from the ribbon;

Step 2: Click "Links" from the drop-down list, then insert a link with the steps same as above.
