How to Use AutoFill to Enter Data

AutoFill continues a series or pattern into the cells below. Please follow the steps below to use AutoFill to enter data:

Step 1: Type the data in the first row or select the data on the top;

Step 2: Select the data range including the first row;

Step 3: Click the "Home" tab from the ribbon;

Step 4: Click "Fill" in the "Editing" section and click "Series";

Step 5: In the "Series" window, select "Columns" and "AutoFill" type;

Alternatively, select the top data (or type the data), drag down the handle in the right bottom corner when it turns into a black cross.

Step 6: Click "OK" at the bottom. Please change the step value to have different data series.
