How to Setup New Worksheet Default View to Normal View

Excel worksheet has 3 different views and you can switch from one to another. In default, when you open a new worksheet, Excel comes with a normal view. However, in case you changed to another default view (e.g., Page Break Preview or Page Layout View), you may want to change Normal View back as default.

To change back "Normal View" as the default worksheet view when you open a new worksheet, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Click the "File" Tab from the ribbon;

Step 2: Click "Options" from the left navigation menu;

Step 3: Click "General" from the left navigation menu in the dialog box;

Step 4: Select "Normal View" from the drop down list "Default view for new sheets" under the section of "When creating new workbooks";

Step 5: Click "OK" at the bottom.
