How to Remove Contacts from a Contact Category in Outlook

Once a while, you may need to clean your Outlook contact list to delete those contacts that are not useful anymore. Please see the steps below for details:

Step 1: Click "People" from the left bottom to open the contact window;

Step 2: Click "Search Contact" to bring up the Search tab in the Ribbon;

Step 3: Click "Categorized" from the Search tab;

Step 4: Click the Category from the list and all the contacts in the category will be listed;

Step 5: To remove a contact from the category, please click on the contact and right click, then click "delete".
