How to Protect a Worksheet

Please follow steps below to protect your worksheet to avoid unintentional edits (e.g., formulas):

Step 1: Right-click on the worksheet name, select "Protect Sheet" from the list;

Step 2: In the "Protect Sheet" window, type in a password and click "OK" at the bottom;

Step 3: Re-type the same password in the "Confirm Password" window and click "OK" at the bottom.

There are two more methods to bring up "Protect Sheet" window.

Method 1: Click Review Tab in the Ribbon, then click "Protect Sheet".

Method 2: Move your mouse to the worksheet. From "Home" tab, click "Format". Then click "Protect Sheet" from the list.
