A Pareto or sorted histogram chart will show you the relative proportions of each category, which is composed of the frequency columns in descending order and a cumulative percentage line. Please follow the steps below to make a Pareto chart:
Step 1: Select the data with category names;
Step 2: Click the "Insert" tab from the ribbon;
Step 3: Click the "Insert Statistic Chart" in the "Charts" section;
Step 4: Click the "Pareto" chart;
Step 5: A Pareto chart is now ready.
Step 6: Change Chart Title: Click on the title then select the words inside the box to replace with the proper ones;
Step 7: Add Data Labels: Right click on the column chart, in the dialog box, select "Add Data Labels".
Step 8: Change Gap Width: Double click on the column chart, in the dialog "Format Data Point" box, change the value of "Gap Width".
