How to Highlight Alternative Rows

In the case you highlight the alternative rows, please follow steps below for details:

Step 1: Click the first cell in the column next to the dataset;

Step 2: Click the Home Tab from the ribbon;

Step 3: Click "Conditional Formatting" in the Styles section;

Step 4: Click "New Rule" in the drop-down list;

Step 5: Select "Use a formula to determine which cells to format";

Step 6: Type formula "=Mod(Row(),2)=1" in the box;

Step 7: Click "Format" button under the box;

Step 8: Click the "Fill" Tab in the "Format Cells" window, and select a color (e.g., Orange), then click "OK" at the bottom;

Step 9: Click "OK" in the "New Formatting Rule" window, the first cell is now highlighted in orange;

Step 10: Copy the cell down to the last row of the dataset, and the alternative rows will be highlighted.
