You might like to highlight cells to make these cells easier to find out later. When you complete highlighting the cells, you can sort the data range based on the cell color, or you can filter the data range by following the steps below:
Step 1: Select the row you want to filter on;
Step 2: Click the "Home" tab from the ribbon;
Step 3: Click "Sort & Filter" and select "Filter" from the drop-down list;
Step 4: You will find that the small triangles are added to the selected row;
Step 5: Click the small triangle in a column and click "Filter by Color", then select a cell color to filter;
Step 6: Only the rows with the color will be selected.
