– How to Change Percentage to Numbers
When working with data in Excel, you may need to turn numbers to percentages. Excel provides a couple of ways to add the percentage sign to numbers. Please follow the steps below to add percentages or apply the shortcut "Ctrl+Shift+Percent", which will work in the same way as below:
Step 1: Select the cells with numbers;
Step 2: Click the "Home" Tab from Ribbon;
Step 3: Click "percentage style" to format numbers as percentages;
Alternatively, you can use the following method to turn numbers to percentages.
Step 1: Select cells or the data range with numbers, and right click;
Step 2: From the list, click "Format Cells";
Step 3: In the "Format Cells" window, click "Percentage" from the left navigation; you can decide how many decimals to keep by changing the decimal place;
