Holidays in Guinea 2025

There are 13 public holidays in Guinea in 2025, three of which fall on weekends.

New Year's Day
New Year Holiday, celebrated on January 1, 2025, is the first day of the year on the modern Gregorian calendar, and it is one of the most popular holidays in the world.

Eid al-Fitr

The Prophet's Birthday

Independence Day
Independence Day is a public holiday in Guinea, and it is observed on October 2, 2025. The holiday commemorates the anniversary of when Guinea declared its independence from France in 1958.

All Saints' Day

Christmas Day
