Independence Day

Lady of Aparecida Day

The story goes back to October 1717 when three Brazilian fishermen were fishing in the Paraiba River, and they found a headless statue of the Virgin Mary. They found the statue's head when they cast their net into the waters again. In 2026, it is observed on October 12.

Republic Day
