Using conditional formatting, you can quickly highlight the cells with bottom 10 items or bottom 10% items. Please see below for details. However, if you need to highlight bottom 10% items, please check How to Highlight the Bottom 10% Items.
Step 1: Select the data cells or range;
Step 2: Click "Home" from the Ribbon;
Step 3: Click "Conditional Formatting", then click "Top/Bottom Rules";
Step 4: Click "Bottom 10 Items" from the drop-down list to bring up "Bottom 10 Items" window. In the first box, enter number 10 to highlight the bottom 10 items;
If you need to pick up bottom 5 items, please enter number 5 in the first box. You can also select a different color from the second box.
Step 5: Click "OK" at the bottom.
