How to Find a WiFi Address in your Device

A WiFi address is the unique ID that helps the network identify your specific device. Please see below for more information on how to find the WiFi address on your device.

1. iOS (iPhone, iPod, iPad)

Step 1: Tap the "Settings" button;

Step 2: Tap "General";

Step 3: Tap "About" and check under WiFi Address.

2. Android

Step 1: Tap the Gear icon;

Step 2: Tap About phone;

Step 3: Tap Status and check under "Wi-Fi MAC address".

3. BlackBerry

Step 1: Press the Menu button;

Step 2: Select Options and scroll down to Device;

Step 3: Select Device and Status Information and check under "WLAN MAC".

4. Windows

Step 1: Click the Start Button, then type "cmd" into the search box, and press Enter;

Step 2: In the prompt, type "getmac" and press Enter;

Step 3: The MAC address will be the first entry under "Physical Address".

5. Mac OS X

Step 1: Click the Apple icon in the top left-hand corner and select the "System Preferences";

Step 2: Select Network;

Step 3: Click "Advanced";

Step 4: The "WiFi Address" should be at the bottom of the screen.
