Ctrl+Shift+Left Arrow: Extend to First Nonblank Cell in a Row

The shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Left Arrow is to extend the selection to the first nonblank cell in the same row, or to the next nonblank cell if the next cell is blank.

1. Extend the selection to the first nonblank cell in the same row: When the cursor is on the right of the data range, the shortcut will select the cells to the first nonblank cell in the worksheet.

Step 1: Click anywhere in the worksheet, e.g., cell F2;

Step 2: Press and hold the "Ctrl" key and the "Shift" key, then press the "Left Arrow" key.

2. Extend the selection to the next nonblank cell if the next cell is blank: When the cursor is in the data range, the shortcut will select to the left edge of the data range.

Step 1: Click anywhere in the worksheet, e.g., cell D2;

Step 2: Press and hold the "Ctrl" key and the "Shift" key, then press the "Left Arrow" key.
