Ctrl+2: Bold Text

The shortcut Ctrl+2 is to bold the text or to remove the bold format. This is the same as the shortcut "Ctrl+B".

Step 1: Select the data range you want to bold;

Step 2: Press the "Ctrl" key from the keyboard and press the number "2". The selected data range is now in bold.

Step 3: To remove the bold format, you need to press "Ctrl+2" again.

Please note that if part of the data range is already in bold, the shortcut will consider the range is in bold. When you press the shortcut, all the text or numbers in the range will remove the bold format.

If you do not use the shortcut, you can always use the commands from the ribbon with the steps below:

Step 1: Select the data range you want to bold;

Step 2: Click the "Home" tab from the ribbon;

Step 3: Click the Bold command in the "Font" section.
