How to Change the Shape of the Watermark in Word

The text watermark in a word file by default is the plain text, which means the watermark is just a normal word even sometimes you may have a different angle. However, you can make the text watermark in a fancy shape with the steps below:

Step 1: If not yet have your watermark, please refer to how to insert a watermark in the word file;

Step 2: If you have your watermark, double click the header of the file and move the cursor in the header;

Step 3: Move the cursor on top of the watermark, and click on it when the cursor turns into a black cross;

Step 4: Now moving points appear around the watermark:

– The green dot is to change the angle;
– The gray dots are to change the size; and
– The yellow dot is to change the italic degree.

Step 5: Double-click on one of the dots and the "Format" tab will display in the ribbon;

Step 6: In the "Format" tab, click "Change Shape" and then select one shape from the drop-down list;

Step 7: After you will see the watermark shape is changed (e.g., Arch up). Please try and select the shape that you want.
