How to Change Gmail Display Density

If you have a Gmail account, you may already realize that Gmail has 3 different display density styles. Based on your preference, you can select any one of the 3 three styles: Default, Comfortable, and Compact.

Step 1: Login your Gmail account (please refer here to open one if you do not have an account yet);

Step 2: In the Gmail account, click the "Setting" button on the right-top corner;

Step 3: Click the "Display density" button from the drop-down list;

Step 4: In the next window, select one of the 3 display density types:

1. Default: The attachment will come with the document type icon in this type, and it will take a separate row;

2. Comfortable: The space between emails will be the same as the default type, but the attachment will display as a clip sign at the end of the email;

3. Compact: The space between emails will be smaller than the above two types, and the attachment will also display as a clip sign at the end of the email.
