How to Change Font Size in Word Comment

When adding comments in a word document, you can change many components such as the color, the picture or the date to improve your document. Please follow the steps below to change the font size in the comment balloon if they are too small.

Step 1: Open the Word file with comments or the file you are going to add comments;

Step 2: Click the "Home" tab from the ribbon;

Step 3: Click the right-bottom corner in the "Styles" section to open the "Styles" pane;

Step 4: In the "Styles" pane, click "Options" at the bottom;

Step 5: In the "Select styles to show" box, select "All styles" from the drop-down list and click "OK";

Step 6: Select "Balloon Text" from the list in the "Styles" pane;

Step 7: Click the down arrow at the end and select "Modify" from the drop-down list;

Step 8: In the "Modify Style" window, you can change the font style and font size under the formatting section;

– If you want to change the font color of the authors' names and the dates in the comment balloons, please select a color in the formatting section;

– If you want to change the font color of the text in the comments, please format as regular text using the commands in the "Home" tab;

– You may also need to check "Only in this document" at the bottom to have the changes for this document only.

Step 9: Click "OK" to save the changes.
