How to Block Address in Gmail

In Gmail, you can block messages from a person or company if you have no interest to continue to subscribe. In this article, we are going to block an email address as an example.

Step 1: Login your Gmail account (please refer here to open one if you do not have an account yet);

Step 2: In the Gmail account, click the "Setting" button from the right-top corner;

Step 3: Click the "Settings" command from the drop-down list;

Step 4: Click the "Filters and blocked addresses" tab in the settings menu and click "Create a new filter";

Step 5: Type the email address you want to block in the "From" line, and click "Create filter";

Step 6: Select the action you want to have when the address sends you messages again, e.g., "Delete it";

Step 7: Go back the email block list and check whether the address is on the block list.
